The AVAL consortium had an oportunity to present the project during cycling workshops dedicated to ship maneuvering. The tradition of workshops dates back to the early nineties. In subsequent years maneuvering workshops transferred into a cyclical international conference organized under the name HYDMAN.
The next project meeting took place at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering – Bialystok University of Technology. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss integrated solutions of two main components of the AVAL technology: drones and autonomous ships.
The AVAL technology prototype will be tested on ships on the scale 1:25, before we start testing at sea.
The first meeting of AVAL consortium took place at Bialystok University of Technology. Welcome speech was done by Vice-rector of Science prof. Andrzej Sikorski, Dean of Computer Science Faculty prof. Marek Krętowski and Dean of Mechanical Engineering Faculty prof. Andrzej Seweryn.
We have a pleasure to announce, that our application for research grant was positively verified by the National Centre for Research and Development.
