On 24.01.2018 the AVAL team tested conducted a power cord unmanned aerial vehicle.
A multi-rotor with artificial load, the total mass of which at the moment of readiness to take off was 12.5 kg was tested in manual and automatic control mode – using the signal from satellite navigation.
Checked, among others dynamic changes in height and 15-minute hitch. The power supply was taken from the power grid and a drone in the air was sent by wire to the deck. No faults or irregularities in the operation of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle system were noticed.
It should be noted, however, that despite the frost (-10 degrees C) conditions were favorable, as the wind did not exceed 3m/s.
