The first polygonal tests of AVAL Image Processing System

On April 20 2018, the first polygonal tests of AVAL Image Processing System took place at the airport in Krywlany, managed by Aeroklub Podlaski.

The goal was to checki the effectiveness and correctness of the geolocation algorithm of objects observed by UAV.

The cars pretended to be ships in these tests. The purpose of the tests was to check the effects of the geolocation algorithm. The drone prototype which was used, prepared by the master Daniel Ołdziej from Faculty of Mechanical Engineering,  Białystok University of Technology, listened to the operator 🙂

UpLogic team, which prepares the prototype of the AVAL Image Processing System (IPS), thanks Pawel Deryng from FlyAway for operating the observation drone and recording tests video.

Next  IPS tests will take place after the analysis of results from first tests and corrections of the geolocation algorithm have been completed.
